How to Post News

To add a news article, simply follow these 5 steps.

• Please Note: If this news is coming from an article elsewhere, you must state the source (and provide a link if possible). Ideally, write your own summary of the news. Do not copy/paste the article without attribution.

1. Create a new page such as NewsBenOnAandE (see HowToAddANewPage). The page name must begin with "News" followed by a WikiWord version of your chosen headline.
2. On your new page, add the full headline as a standard heading (wrap it in 5 equals signs as directed in the StyleGuide). Then add the content of your article.
3. Make sure you include the following at the bottom of the page, in exactly this format (you just change the date):

   Posted on MM/DD/YY. Back to LatestNews.
   CategoryNews
   
   
4. You should then add a link to your new article on the LatestNews page (along with the date).
5. Finally, check the front page of www.benfolds.org∞ to make sure your article is showing up in the "Latest News" section (give it a minute or two). If it doesn't show up, you did something wrong (go through these steps again!).
